SHOCK aims to increase productivity by discouraging unnecessary phone usage. By delivering a subtle vibration when the user reaches for their phone, it encourages behavior change and minimizes distractions.
How It Works
Capacitive Touch Sensor:
A foil-based capacitive sensor detects human touch through changes in capacitance when the phone is touched.

Wireless Communication:
An Xbee module enables wireless communication between the touch sensor (on the phone) and a vibration motor(in a bracelet). When touch is detected, the bracelet vibrates to alert the user.

Bluetooth Integration:
A Bluetooth module connects to a phone to track usage data via a web app. A green LED indicates a successful connection; red means disconnected.
