This project involved designing, building, and programming a test fixture to perform reliability cycle tests on surgical light heads and spring arms. The goal was to simulate real-world movements and wear to estimate product lifespan and failure modes. To ensure repeatability and accuracy, detailed test procedures were developed. The project also incorporated cleaning compatibility and joint testing, where both mechanical motion and surface cleaning were simulated to assess how disinfectants and repeated use affect the product's durability over time.
