Hi I'm Rana!
I'm an Electro-Mechanical Robotics Engineer based in Brooklyn, New York. I specialize in rapid prototyping and development of products from the ideation stage to production.
I graduated with my degree in Mechanical Engineering from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering in May 2023. Since then, I have worked at numerous start ups as a robotics engineer where I have had the opportunity to work on all kinds of robotics systems ranging from drones to medical devices.
During my time at NYU, I was the Equipments team lead at the NYU MakerSpace where I specialized in Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and the ShopBot CNC machine. This specialization solidified my skills in DFM, DFA and in house manufacturing for rapid prototyping. These are skills that have proved handy to me in all my positions including my role at Stryker and my current role at Lilu.
